Service Description

Fae Social (social.junovy.com) is an ActivityPub-compatible social platform that combines microblogging, group chat, and direct messaging. The service is provided on an "as is" basis.

Jurisdiction

This service and all related legal matters are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent courts in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Intellectual Property

The Fae Social name, logo, and brand elements are trademarks of Junovy. User-generated content remains the intellectual property of its respective authors. By posting content on Fae Social, you grant us a limited licence to display and distribute that content within the service and via ActivityPub federation.

Liability

Junovy is not liable for user-generated content published on the platform. We act in accordance with the EU Digital Services Act notice-and-action obligations. If you believe content on Fae Social infringes your rights, please contact us at legal@junovy.com with details of the content and the basis of your claim.

Hosting

The platform is hosted on EU-based infrastructure provided by Hetzner Online GmbH (Gunzenhausen, Germany). Media storage is served via the Junovy CDN, also hosted on Hetzner infrastructure within the EU. System emails (registration, notifications, password resets) are delivered via Mailjet (Mailgun Technologies SAS, Paris, France).

The competent data protection authority is the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), PO Box 93374, 2509 AJ The Hague, The Netherlands.
